Six thematic sessions, more than 40 speakers from Poland, Türkiye, Albania, Georgia and Ukraine, and nearly 300 healthcare professionals and medical students.

The programme combined academic perspectives with the experience of professionals working in long-term care. Six thematic blocks covered the organisation and management of care, wound treatment and clinical nutrition, geriatrics and multimorbidity, urology, palliative care, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and ethical and psychosocial issues.

More than 40 speakers from five countries contributed to the sessions, accompanied by practical workshops. Nearly 300 healthcare professionals and medical students attended.

Dr Monika Borek chaired the Organising Committee, while Professor Handan Boztepe of Ankara Medipol University headed the Scientific Council. CIRSA co-created the event with the Józef Gołuchowski University of Applied Sciences.
