
Held under the honorary patronage of the Świętokrzyskie Voivode, the conference brought together representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Police, healthcare, civil-society organisations and academia.
The conference examined how child safeguarding regulations work in the day-to-day practice of schools, care institutions, the justice system, Police, healthcare and civil-society organisations. The programme comprised two sections: “Crime and violence against minors” and “Standards for the protection of minors”.
Speakers included Judge Agnieszka Matysek of the Ministry of Justice, Krzysztof Janoszka of the Regional Police Headquarters in Wrocław, Katarzyna Świercz, Plenipotentiary of the Świętokrzyskie Voivode, and representatives of foundations, healthcare and academia.
The Institute co-organised the event. Dr Monika Borek and CIRSA expert Dariusz Loranty were among the speakers. The conference addressed not only legal duties but also the exchange of experience between institutions responsible for the real safety of children and young people.
